Seek Refuge in Allāh ﷻ

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 09:51). ‘Qul lan yuṣībanā illa mā kataba Llāhu lana’, ‘Say: “Nothing shall ever happen to us except what Allah has ordained for us.’ Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “Nothing will happen to us except what is written by Allāh ﷻ, what is predestined to happen to us.” Therefore, the current situation and state, people are worried, “What will happen? What will be?” Everything will be as Allāh ﷻ wants. It doesn’t happen otherwise. Nothing happens that Allāh ﷻ doesn’t want.

Therefore, you must rely upon Allāh ﷻ. There is nowhere to run. “- ”, ‘Fafirrū ilāLlāh’, ‘So flee to Allah.’ (Qur’ān 51:50). Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says what you should do is run towards Allāh ﷻ, seek refuge in Allāh ﷻ. There is nowhere else to find shelter. The situation of this world is all mixed up. It is unclear what may happen. People are worried not knowing what to do. Don’t worry. Who is with Allāh ﷻ doesn’t worry. We came from Allāh ﷻ, and to Allāh ﷻ we’ll return. Nothing else. Others don’t know where they came from. They don’t know where they’ll go. Let them worry. We don’t worry with Allāh’s ﷻ permission. As much rizq as Allāh ﷻ gives us, wherever it is, that’s with His ﷻ permission. Our duty is to rely upon Him ﷻ and to keep on serving in our work, our worship, our family, our environment and people. The things we do should be for Allāh’s ﷻ pleasure so that they don’t go in vain. Neither suffering, nor goodness goes in vain then. Every state is good for believers, says our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. It’s a gain when it’s good. And it’s a gain when it’s tough. There is nothing that goes in vain or to the worse.

The most important thing is to seek refuge in Allāh ﷻ, to depend on Allāh ﷻ. What we must do is rely upon Him ﷻ. It is one of the conditions of īmān. “Amantu bi Allah wa malaikatihi wa kutubihi wa rusulihi wa bil Qadari khayrihi wa sharrihi min Allāhi ta’ālā.” Everything is from Allāh ﷻ. We must believe that both goodness and badness is

from Allāh ﷻ. We will attain the reward then. Otherwise, people have no īmān now. As if they are doing something good, they say “I don’t believe.” If you don’t believe, then suffer. You will suffer here, and you will suffer more in ākhirah. New types of people appear every time. Children believe their friends. But they don’t believe their fathers, grandfathers and ḥojjas. And then they don’t know what to do. Therefore, don’t fall into the bad way. Don’t think badly. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla has appointed everyone’s rizq, their everything, the time they will live. He ﷻ has said that. So it will happen.

Therefore, don’t obey your ego. And guard your ego. Guard yourself from badness, from ḥarām, from bad places and everything. Rely upon Allāh ﷻ. The world’s situation is clear. There is nothing as this world will recover. It’s getting worse day by day. Our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “The best time is my time. Then comes the time of ṣaḥābahs and so on. 200 years after me, it will get worse day by day,” says our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And now it is even going faster, getting even worse every day. Therefore, don’t hope to have comfort in this world. Your hope should be the ākhirah. Then, Allāh ﷻ will give you comfort here and hereafter. May Allāh ﷻ protect all of us, in shā’a Llāh.

In shā’a Llāh, good days will come too. The days of Mahdī ‘alayhi s-salām foretold by our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam will be a short time like Asr-i Sa’adah. And then it will be over too. Nothing is permanent in this world. Permanence is in ākhirah. Eternity is in ākhirah. Everything is interim in dunyā. It is temporary. May Allāh ﷻ protect us.

Wa min Allāhi t-Tawfīq. Al-Fātiḥa.
