Bad Friends Lead You to Hell

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm,

“Fāţţala`a Fara’āhu Fī Sawā’i Al-Jaĥīmi (55) Qāla Ta-Allāhi ’In Kidta Laturdīni”, “So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire (55) He said: “By Allāh! You have nearly ruined me.” (Qur’ān 37:55-56). Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm. It is shown in Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n the Day of Judgment and the Hereafter. There will be those who say so. In the sight of Allāh ﷻ, time and space are creations. Therefore, there is no time or space for Allāh ﷻ. He ﷻ shows everything; what happened, what will happen and so.

In the Hereafter, the people of Paradise will also look at those in Hell and see what happens there. He will say to his friend from dunyā, “You almost threw me into the middle of Hell like you.” In dunyā, they say, “No, this is my opinion, I’m telling the truth. I’m on the right way. Beware. There’s no need for this worship. Don’t worship. Come with me. Let’s enjoy ourselves. Let’s not have other things to do. Let’s worship other things, let’s occupy ourselves with other things. There is no such thing as the way of Allāh ﷻ.” Now it is like this, and in old times it was the same. Human beings are always the same. Humans have their egos, and they have their shayṭān.

Therefore, today’s generation thinks, “We are intelligent. Our ancestors and grandfathers were fools. They served Islām, followed the way of Islām, and so on. We are still young. We’re educated,” you’re educated but you haven’t understood anything anyway. In friendships, at school, in high school, in university, young people think they are very intelligent. They often influence those around them. Some are saved; some are not. And those who are not will end up in the middle of hell in the hereafter. Then, they will burn in this fire in despair. Let them boast or brag in this world as much as they want. Worldly life passes in a flash. What remains are those who will remain in hell forever.

Therefore, people must think. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla created man. From Adam ‘alayhi s-salām until now, the things within that being are the same, they do not change. Whether you drive a large car or a small car, whether you walk or own nothing at all. The nature and qualities within mankind remain the same; they don’t change.

Therefore, do not stray from the way of Allāh ﷻ. To avoid regret in the Hereafter and to save yourself, follow good people. Be with them. What they say is true. None of what those who will lead you astray say is true. None of it is beneficial. It only brings harm. May Allāh ﷻ protect us from bad friends. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says in Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n, mankind will say, “I was almost going to hell. I would have been like you. If Allāh ﷻ had not saved me, I would have been in the middle of Hell like you.” May Allāh ﷻ protect people, especially the youth. Young people, adults, everyone – shayṭān can afflict anyone. He can ruin everyone’s ākhirah and their end. May Allāh ﷻ protect us from evil and bad friends. May Allāh ﷻ strengthen our īmān. May no one lead us astray, in shā’a Llāh.
