No Sin After Disbelief
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
There is a saying,
“Laysa baa’da l-kufri dhanb”, “There is no sin after disbelief.” What does it mean? There isn’t anything, not anything after one being a disbeliever and not in Islām. There isn’t a sin bigger than this. All sins, if one is a kāfir, a non-believer, all what he’s done compared to being a non-believer is nothing. This is a rule of Islām.
Now we are seeing all news on TV, they’ve done this, they’ve done that, this is like this, this is like that. People are afraid “What is this!” This is nothing compared to being against Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Kāfir means to be against Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, not accept Allāh ﷻ, not accept His ﷻ order. So when it is like this, it is the biggest sin. This is the biggest sin.
For this, when somebody becomes Muslim, Allāh ﷻ removes all what he had done before, and he begins a new life. He begins a life without sin. After that, slowly, slowly, of course, everybody sins. But this sin, Allāh ﷻ can forgive it. He ﷻ said, “When you ask forgiveness, I forgive you,” Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying. But when you are against Allāh ﷻ, all that you have done, you cannot ask forgiveness when you do not accept Allāh ﷻ. You ask forgiveness from who you accept, from this and that. You must ask forgiveness from millions. But when you accept Islām and accept Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, you ask forgiveness from Allāh ﷻ.
All Prophets are in Islām. Allāh’s ﷻ religion for human beings is Islām. From ‘Adam ‘alayhi salam to our Prophet ﷺ, Sayyidina Muhammad ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, all are in Islām. Don’t say this is Christian, this is Jewish, this is another thing. No, Islām is the religion of Allāh ﷻ. It is coming one by one until Sayyidina Muhammad ṣallá Llāhu
‘alayhi wa-sallam and he ﷺ completed the religion. After this, no any religion, no any Prophet.
So may Allāh ﷻ give Hidāyah to these people who are not yet in the way of Allāh ﷻ, not accepting Allāh ﷻ, fighting Allāh ﷻ, are against Allāh ﷻ. May Allāh ﷻ give Hidāyah for them to be safe from this bad position, in shā’a Llāh.
Wa min Allāhi t-Tawfīq. Al-Fātiḥa.
