As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.

1Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “More than two persons become Jam’ah.” When there is one person, it is not Jama’ah. When there is someone next to him, it becomes Jama’ah. Even if there is only one more person, they become two with Imam. The more is counted as Jama’ah. And the less is not Jama’ah.

2Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “There are three things that if only people knew how good and full of Barakah they are, they would certainly make a draw between each other to obtain them.” There are three things that if people knew their value, they would make a draw for them. Just like they go to Hajj by making a draw now, they would make a draw so that it goes to whoever gets it. “First one is calling the Adhan for a prayer.” Calling Adhan has a great virtue. People could make a draw to be Mu’adhin. “Going to Jum’ah prayer early.” Trying to go to Jum’ah as early as possible. “And praying in the first rows.” It is better to pray in the first row. There is a row and there are many people behind it.

Therefore, if they knew its worth, they would make a draw for that, says our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.

3Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “A prayer performed with Jama’ah is 27 times superior over the prayer performed alone.” Instead of praying alone, there is 27 times more virtues when you pray in Jama’ah. As our Holy Prophet ﷺ said, even two persons can make Jama’ah. When alone, people miss 27 ranks. But with Jama’ah, they earn it.

4Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “A prayer performed with Jama’ah is 25 ranks superior over the prayer performed alone.” It is 25 times superior. It is as if you earn Thawab of praying 25 times alone.

5Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “A prayer performed with Jama’ah is equal to 25 prayers performed alone.”

6Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “A prayer performed by a person in Jama’ah is 25 ranks higher than the prayer performed at home or in a shop.” If there is no Jama’ah at home or at work, a prayer performed in Jama’ah is 25 ranks higher.

“For this reason, when someone among you goes to take ablution and does it well, then goes to Masjid with the sole intention of praying, Allah Almighty increases his rank in every step he makes.” When one takes ablution well and goes to a mosque with the intention of praying, he is raised a rank for every step he makes. These are not worldly ranks but ranks of Akhirah. It is a great blessing and great favor from Allah ﷻ.

“And one sin will be erased.” One of his sins will be erased. We have many sins. Therefore, a sin is erased for every step. 100,000 steps or 500,000 steps; sins as many as the steps taken will be erased, says our Holy Prophet ﷺ.

“This goes on like this until he reaches the Masjid.” No matter if Masjid is near or far, this goes on like that.

“When he enters Masjid and starts praying, angels make Du’a for him while he is praying and present there and ask “O Allah ﷻ, forgive him. O Allah ﷻ, have mercy on him. O Allah ﷻ, accept his repentance”. They ask for forgiveness for him. “It is when he both prays and sits there after the prayer.”

“As long as he doesn’t harm anyone and does not break his ablution, this goes on.” As long as he stays in the mosque, angels make such a Du’a up until he leaves.

7Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “A prayer performed by someone in Jama’ah is 25 ranks higher than the prayer performed alone. If a person prays with Jama’ah on the way in an open land,” if he prays with Jama’ah not in the mosque but during a journey, “if he takes ablution well, makes Ruku’ and Sajdah completely and makes Du’a rightfully, that prayer becomes 50 ranks even higher.” It will be superior for those who pray in Jama’ah in an open land during the journey than in Masjid.

8Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “A prayer performed as Jama’ah with someone from the two persons becoming Imam and the other one following him is rather favorable in the presence of Allah ﷻ than four persons praying alone.” When two persons make Jama’ah, their prayer is more favorable in the presence of Allāh ﷻ than when four people pray separately.

“A prayer performed with someone from four persons becoming Imam is rather favorable in the presence of Allah ﷻ than eight people praying alone.” If four people pray in Jama’ah, it is better than eight people praying separately.

“A prayer performed by eight people as Jama’ah is rather favorable in the presence of Allah ﷻ than 100 persons praying alone,” says our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Even if Jama’ah is little, it is better, more favorable and acceptable in the presence of Allah ﷻ than many people praying one by one.

9Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam

The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “A prayer performed in Jama’ah is equal to 25 prayers performed alone. If a person in a journey prays in a wide land and makes Ruku’ and Sajdah completely, that prayer equals to 50 prayers performed alone.” A prayer performed in a journey or outside equals to 50 prayers. A prayer in Masjid equals to 25, and this one equals to 50 prayers. It becomes double.

10-Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “Thawab of Fard prayer in Masjid where Jum’ah prayer is performed equals to Fard of Hajj.” It equals to Fard of Hajj. In old times, it was not like it is nowadays. As the country was small, Jum’ah prayer was performed in one Masjid. If there were other Masjids, Jum’ah was not performed there. All of them had to be in one place. But there were other Masjids where they did it very rarely. Praying in the mosque where Jum’ah prayer is performed is 500 ranks higher than praying in those Masjids. It is equal to Fard of Hajj, says our Holy Prophet ﷺ.

“And performing Nafl prayers is equivalent to the Thawab of the accepted Hajj.” Nafl and Sunnah prayers performed in that mosque are like the Thawab of Hajj. And Fard is equal to Fard of Hajj. That is higher as it is Fard. And as this is Nafl, it is as Thawab of performing Hajj.

“A prayer performed in such a Masjid is 500 superior over praying in other Masjids.” A prayer performed in a mosque where Jum’ah prayer is performed has 500 more ranks, as we said. As Jum’ah is performed in all of them now, insha’Allah all of them are 500 times more.

11-Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “A prayer performed in Jama’ah is 25 times higher than the prayer performed alone. And the superiority of Nafl prayer performed at home over the prayer performed in Masjid is like superiority of praying in Jama’ah over praying alone.” It is more.

Sadaqa RasuluLlah fi ma qal, aw kama qal. The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ says the truth in what he ﷺ said or as he ﷺ said.
