Your Rizq is by Your Name

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 07:31). ‘Kulū washrabū wa la tusrifū, ‘Eat and drink, but waste not by extravagance.’ Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘aẓīm. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is saying,“Eat and drink, but don’t waste.” Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla has written Rizq for each person, what they will eat and drink throughout their life. When their Rizq is over, they die. Normally, it is so. But sometimes those who possess karamah can live without eating and drinking. Normally, people die when their Rizq is over. They don’t have other solution. Therefore, whatever your Rizq is, you will surely have it. When you have your Rizq, you must make Shukr to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla that He ﷻ gave it to you.

Rizq is a strange thing. It is written on every bite who will eat it. No one else can eat that bite. That particular person will surely eat it. Mu’min and Muslim people believe so. Therefore, the food they eat wherever they are invited to or at home, in the street or here and there, they will eat the bite with their names written on it.

The Mashayikh and Mawlana Shaykh Nazim used to say, which is probably Hadith of our Holy Prophet ﷺ, when a guest comes, his Rizq comes before him. It gets ready for the guest to come and eat there. Therefore, those who host guests have benefit too. Their Rizq comes too. Mawlana Shaykh Nazim loved guests and used to say, “We are getting Rizq thanks to you. We are given Rizq as your Rizq is here. So we are giving it to you.” Holy ones are like this. Whatever they have, whatever Allah ﷻ gives them - who has his Rizq will come there. He will be at that place. And others will benefit from it too.

People nowadays say they will do so and so. No need to rush. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is giving, so whatever one’s Rizq is, he will eat it. And who eats must stand up making Shukr. He must not say he didn’t like it. When you say you didn’t like it, it is out of Adab.

You don’t accept your blessing then. Who doesn’t accept the blessing will be deprived of the blessing. Therefore, the more Shukr you make, the more it multiplies.

Wherever you go, don’t relate the host with the favors he gives. Know they are from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and make Shukr to Allah ﷻ, for that is a big blessing. Who doesn’t appreciate the blessing will lose it. He won’t find it anymore. Therefore, Shukr to Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla for the blessings He ﷻ gives. Insha’Allah every bite will give light and more Iman to our bodies. It will give strength to walk on the way of truth. Start with BismiLlah. Eat and finish with BismiLlah and Fatihah. It will become strength and Iman with the permission of Allah ﷻ.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
