Allāh ﷻ Put Us Here, Don’t Ask Why

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

May we always make shukr to Allāh ﷻ. Endless shukr and praises. As He ﷻ created us from the ummah of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, may there always be shukr to Him ﷻ. In every minute, every breath, every second: shukr to Him ﷻ. We must know this great favour and appreciate it.

Some people ask why Allāh ﷻ created us. Muslims also ask why Allāh ﷻ created us. We say ḥāshā mina l-ḥuḍūr. Who are you to ask this question? Allāh ﷻ created you. What can you do? You can't do anything. You came to this world by the will of Allāh ﷻ. You can't question how He ﷻ did it. He ﷻ creates as He ﷻ likes. He ﷻ could have created you as a stone, or an insect, or an animal. He ﷻ could have created you as a bird, as jinn or an angel. He ﷻ creates as He ﷻ wants. And He ﷻ did so. You don't have a will. The will in Islām means submission to Allāh ﷻ. They say "Aslim Taslam". Sumbit yourself and find peace. Otherwise, your head will be in a mess throughout life. "Why did He ﷻ create us? Why am I here? If only I was this, if only I was that." You will think like that all your life; whereas Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla created you as human. He ﷻ said and ordered what people must do. If you go according to that instruction, you will find peace.

Many people nowadays - No comparison, but they take a tool, and there are thousand things written on it. They write how to use it. They don't look at that and decide to do as they like. When they do so, they break the tool without using it, whereas they have shown it to you. Therefore, ḥāshā, we don't want to compare, but Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla created you. He ﷻ showed you what to do - to go on that way to find peace. Even though there is suffering in this world, your head will be at peace, as that is by the will of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. We must be patient with that. How long is our worldly life? We will go to ākhirah from this life in peace then. We will enter paradise which is promised by Allāh ﷻ there. Otherwise, in this world, they fight with themselves, with their families, with people they live with, with the world and everything. They create problems for everything. They live the life of hell in this world before ākhirah.

Therefore, if you want to live in paradise in this world, follow the way of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Go on the way shown by him ﷺ. If you are poor or rich, sick or well, there is a reward for everything. As long as you go on the way of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, you will be at rest. And the greatest thing is that we are his ﷺ ummah. What’s most important is that we are the ummah of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla created us like that with His ﷻ will in this time. This world is mixed up and a mess. If you want peace, be with Allāh ﷻ to have peace. Even if the world collapses, it won't affect you. Nothing will happen to you. Otherwise, even if you live in the safest place, that darkness inside you, that unrest won't give you peace.

Therefore, we say shukr to Allāh ﷻ. Today is the birthday of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. He ﷺ was sent as mercy to the worlds. Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla gave all kinds of beatiful things to him ﷺ and to his ﷺ ummah. A bit earlier, Ḥāfiẓ Efendi Imām ‘Abdurraḥman Efendi made people happy by reading the āyāt from beautiful Qur’ān. This is the biggest gift for the ummah. There is everything in Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n. There is peace, knowledge and wellness. There is safety and things that show beauty. And that is a gift to us from our Holy Prophet ﷺ. If you want a miracle, this is the biggest miracle. Qur’ān ‘Aẓīmu sh-Sha’n is one of the biggest miracles of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. No one can change it. They can't do like it. No one can reach what is inside it. It is the eternal word of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. May Allāh ﷻ bless our this day and night. May Allāh ﷻ be pleased with you.
