As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

There is a Turkish saying “Every day is a feast for a madman.” He is a man who has thrown off the hardship of this world. When he doesn’t care about this world, every day is a feast. Therefore, a person who cares about this world is always sad and anxious. He is a person who doesn’t know what to do. A person who trusts in Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, relies and depends on Him ﷻ is the opposite. Nothing affects him. What affects him is the pleasure of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Did he attain it or not is what the person should think about.

Certainly, madmen are not Mukallāf (responsible). They are not responsible of anything. But those who are Mukallāf - we are all Mukallāf. Whether the things we do as responsible ones are done for the pleasure of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, or for the pleasure of shaytan or the pleasure of our egos, people’s profit is according to that. People have comfort from that. A person who asks for the pleasure of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is always in comfort, because he remembers and makes Dhikr of Allah ﷻ.

Making Dhikr of Allah ﷻ is remembering Him ﷻ. The hearts of people are content with it., “A-lā bi-dhikri llāhi taṭmainnu l-qulūb”, “Verily, in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find rest.” (Qur’ān 13:28). When people don’t make Dhikr, they are anxious. They are frustrated and never at rest. Rest and contentment come from being with Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, from always remembering Him. ‘ ’. “Allah ﷻ haadiri, Allah ﷻ shaahidi, Allah ﷻ naadhiri.” It is the motto of Tariqahs. A person who says, “Allah ﷻ is with me. Allah ﷻ is my witness, Allah ﷻ sees me” and knows it, doesn’t do badness. He doesn’t do anything but goodness. May Allah ﷻ make us from them.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
