6 min read

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.

1Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “Every eye has committed adultery.” When you look at the forbidden, that is as if you have committed adultery. “If a woman applies perfume and passes by men, that is as if she has committed adultery.” It becomes like a sin.

2Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “Women among you should not apply perfume during ‘Isha prayer.” That is for the perfume scent not to reach men in the mosque. It is fine if they apply it at home. But outside, it is wrong.

3Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “A woman who has the scent of incense on her should not be present at ‘Isha prayer with us.” It is fine for them to be in a mosque. But it is wrong if they apply perfume in the mosque. It is fine without applying perfume.

4Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “The best prayers of women are the prayers they perform in the furthest corners of their homes.” There is no need for women to go to a mosque. A prayer they perform at home is better than the prayer they perform in a mosque, says our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam.

5Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “The best Masjid for women is the furthest corner of their home.” Masjids of women are in their homes. No need to go to a mosque to earn Thawab. It is better if they stay and pray at home. Certainly, if they are outside, they can pray in a mosque as well when it’s time for prayer.

6Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “It is better for women to pray in their bedrooms and rooms where their personal belongings are rather than in living rooms.” The further in the house, the better it is. Their prayers become more virtuous.

7Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “The prayer a woman performs alone is 25 times superior than the prayer performed in Jama’ah.” It is the opposite of men. If a man prays alone, he gets one virtue. If he prays with Jama’ah, he gets 27 virtues or more. It is not the same for women. If they pray alone, they attain 25 times more of rewards than praying in Jama’ah.

8Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “The prayer a woman performs in the furthest room of her house is superior than the prayer performed in the living room or in the yard. And the prayer performed in the yard is superior than the prayer performed in Masjid in Jama’ah.” The further away from people, the higher it is. First one is in the furthest room, second is in the living room. Praying in the living room is below the first one. But praying in the living room is higher than praying in the yard. And praying in the yard is higher than praying with Jama’ah in Masjid.

9Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “If any woman goes to Masjid after applying perfume, her prayer will not be accepted unless she makes Ghusl until that perfume is gone.” Perfume scent provokes lust in men. Therefore, they can’t pray with perfume on as it becomes an obstacle for others’ prayers.

10-Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam

The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “It is better for women to pray in the furthest room of their house rather than in living room, or yard. And it is better to pray in the yard rather than praying in Masjid.” The furthest room is the best for women. Some people think they will attain a lot of virtue if they go to a mosque and pray in Jama’ah. No. If you are on the way or outside, you may pray in the mosque. But normally, it is better for women to pray at home..

11-Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “A woman has not performed a more beloved prayer in the sight of Allah ﷻ than in the darkest and furthest place of her house.” The most beloved prayer by women in the sight of Allah ﷻ is the prayer performed in the darkest room far away from people.

12-Qala RasuluLlah salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ (peace be upon him ﷺ) says:

Our Holy Prophet ﷺ is saying, “Do not prohibit female servants of Allah ﷻ from entering the mosque.” Women are not prohibited to go to a mosque. But the virtue of their prayers is higher when they pray at home. In order for Sahabah not to prevent their women from mosques, our Holy Prophet ﷺ said this as well. Masjids are open for them as well. But the prayer performed at home is more virtuous. When they are outside and the time is due, they will miss the time if they delay it till home as that is more virtuous. They will have to make it up and make a sin. Therefore, they should pray what they can at home and pray what they can’t manage in the mosque.

May Allah ﷻ accept it insha’Allah.

Sadaqa RasuluLlah fi ma qal, aw kama qal. The Messenger of Allāh ﷻ says the truth in what he ﷺ said or as he ﷺ said.
