The Order All Prophets Followed

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

We arrived, al-ḥamdu liLlāh, Allāh ﷻ made nasīb (destined). After two years, we meet. Mā shā’a Llāh, brothers and sisters, more people are coming, al-ḥamdu liLlāh, interested in hidāyah (guidance).

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm: ‘ )162 (’, ‘Qul 'Inna Şalātī Wa Nusukī Wa Maĥyāya Wa Mamātī Lillāh Rabbi Al-`Ālamīna (162) Lā Sharīka Lahu wa bi-dhalika Umirt’, ‘Say, "Indeed, my prayer, my rites of sacrifice, my living and my dying are for Allah, Lord of the worlds. (162) No partner has He. And this I have been commanded.’ (Qur’an 06:162-163). The order of Allāh ﷻ for us to be praying, going to prayer, fasting, making qurbān, making Hajj. All of this is for the sake of Allāh ﷻ. This is the order of Allāh ﷻ. We are following this order. We are doing this. It is an order for Prophets, all Prophets, and the last Prophet, our Sayyidinā Muḥammad ṣallá Llāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam. And the Qur’ān is showing this. This is an order to do this, to serve and help people.

For this, we are happy to see people coming to hidāyah. We are happy because Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is happy. Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will be happier than one Bedouin who lost everything in the desert and has nothing, then found them after that. How happy will he be? Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla will be as happy when some servant comes to hidāyah. This happiness – maybe people who are living in cities or in this time have everything. They can’t even imagine the happiness of this man when he found his lost thing, his camel, his water, his food. They were all gone in the middle of the desert, and he had nothing. But after that, when he found them, this is the happiness. It is the most extreme happiness for any human being in this situation. Because He ﷻ is the Most Merciful, Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. And He ﷻ wants His ﷻ servants to follow the way of surviving, to not be in danger. Because Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla is the Creator

and He ﷻ is not in need for anybody’s good deed or bad deed; it doesn’t affect Him ﷻ. So He ﷻ is happy only for His ﷻ servant to save himself from fire.

And all Prophets were following this order, going through their village, their cities, their country, looking for people to give them hidāyah. Allāh ﷻ sent 124,000 Prophets. So they were looking after people by the order of Allāh ﷻ and they were not asking for anything from people. Many of them found maybe one follower, one, two, maybe three, maybe four. Even when they will come on the Day of Resurrection, they will come with their nation. Every Prophet comes after him his nation. Nation is how much? His nation is a million? A billion? No. One man, two men. Some of them coming, nobody following them; only by themselves.

And to be a Prophet in a city or around people is an extremely valuable thing. They have the highest rank among human beings, Prophets. After our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, there is no Prophet. The last one is our Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam, Sayyidina Muhammad ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wasallam. So we don’t have a Prophet. The highest one, even the most highest one [of people] is lower than a Prophet’s rank. Even if they don’t have any nation following them, even with this, they are also higher than anyone from after Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. The Ṣaḥābah, khulafā’, mashāyikh, all of them, their rank is lower than that of the Prophet.

Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam says, “The scholars of my Ummah are like the Prophets of Banī Israīl.” The scholars or the highest ones in my ﷺ nation is as the old Prophets, Banī Israīl Prophets. And they are, of course, some of them are more knowledgeable because Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam’s knowledge was then given to others but the rank is still not as Prophets.

So all these Prophets were following order of Allāh ﷻ to call people to save themselves. And they are not asking for wages from people to show them the way of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:, “Qul Lā ‘As’alukum ‘Alayhi ‘Ajrāan 'In Huwa ‘Illā Dhikrá Lil`ālamīn”, “Say, "I ask of you for this message no payment. It is not but a reminder for the worlds.” (Qur’an 06:90). We don’t ask any money or anything from you to give you advice, we are only reminding you. You are human beings, you are obligated to follow the way of Allāh ﷻ. This is what we are ordered from Allāh ﷻ: to help people.

Al-ḥamdu liLlāh. And there were millions of these scholars, ulamā’, awliyā’, mashāyikh who are following this [order], going between human beings, between people, showing them the way, the right way. And until Qiyāmah, in shā’a Llāh, this will continue. And those who are showing the way were telling what Allāh ﷻ orders from His ﷻ holy book, holy word: Qur’ān Azīmu sh-shān, or from Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. What they told people and how they were with this. They are calling people to be believers.

And it is not with - many people thought that with sword and with fighting, they spread Islam, no. Islam - ok, they made war against the oppressor, but they were not saying to people, “Be Muslim or we will kill you.” This never happened. And so when people were seeing the beauty of Islam, the beauty of the way of Allāh ﷻ, by themselves they became Muslim. Sometimes, many of them were also still in their religion; nobody forced them to be Muslim. This is what they are cheating people. Of course, as we said, they can be fighting, there can be war between Muslims and non-Muslims but they were never forcing people to enter Islam, by force. No, it is only [by themselves]. When they made war, of course it was against people who were oppressing other people.

Al-ḥamdu liLlāh, one of the greatest days in humanity’s history is today. A [chapter] closed and a new history opened from that day when Sulṭān Fātiḥ Muḥammad conquered Istanbul. It was today. Of course, the Christians who were living there were Orthodox. They were most happiest ones with this. They were oppressed by people with their same religion but a different type of people. Even once before the conquering, there was a crusader, the First Crusade going through Istanbul. At that time its name was Constantinople. So they said, “We are Christians, we are going to Jerusalem to make it Christian.” So they went through this city and they destroyed it the most destruction that has happened for this city.

For this, when Sulṭān Fātiḥ conquered it, they were afraid but he said to give them their full rights as human beings to choose their religion. Even the one who was a Patriarch for them, he gave them a special place, a special status. And the others also were safe. They were happy. They had no problem. And from that day, centuries of what they call the Middle Age was closed, and a new age opened after this time. This is what people don’t know about history. They only believe what shayṭān and his followers write against Islām, against Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wasallam.

At all times, the non-Muslim was protected more than the Muslim, even in this country. Because they have an order from Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla to not be oppressors., “Wa-Allahu la Yuh’ibbu z-Zalimeen”, “And Allah does not like the oppressors.” (Qur’an 03:57). Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla doesn’t like the oppressors. So who is doing something by himself - but of course, who does something and says, “This is a Muslim doing,” this is not true. Who does this is not a believer and not following Islam. He is a hypocrite. Our order is to prevent oppression.

Insha’Allah, Allāh ﷻ – the days now, the whole world is full of oppression, everywhere, every time, you see by your eye. But this is the end of times, so insha'Allah Allāh ﷻ will send Sayyidina Al-Mahdi to finish this oppression insha’Allah. For this, all the time, as Mawlana Shaykh, we pray for Allāh ﷻ to send him soon, insha’Allah.
