Say It Rained Mercy

2 min read

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam is saying in the end of times it will rain a lot and become a disaster to people, or it will not rain at all and create drought. This is from the miracles of our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. And the children of most people will not be good in the end of times. They will be disobedient to their fathers and mothers. They are the punishment given by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla to people who’ve gone astray in the end of times. May Allah ﷻ protect us.

When there is no rain, we should make Du’a asking that Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla sends it down with mercy. We pray that He ﷻ doesn’t send it as punishment and suffering to us, because rain is Barakah and mercy. People of old times had Adab. They used to say everything nicely and say “It rained mercy.” None of people in the present time say it rains mercy. They just say it rained. People of old times said, “It rained with mercy and didn’t become a disaster. It didn’t come as a punishment.” Nowadays, when it rains, they say, “Here you go, it is raining.”

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla sends flood everywhere that destroys houses and ruins gardens. Certainly, there is benefit in it too. But along with that benefit there is mercy. Certainly, there is so. But because of the wildness of people, in order to show them their weakness, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is showing it with water. He ﷻ is giving at once what people can’t even imagine to cause that much harm.

Call rain as mercy. Say it rained mercy, and may it become mercy to all of us insha’Allah. May it be Barakah. Water is life. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, “We created everything from water.” Therefore, may this water be mercy for us insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May we not cause His ﷻ wrath insha’Allah. May there be guidance for people.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
