The Naqshbandī Way

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, our ṭarīqah, the Naqshbandī ṭarīqah is the way that follows the way of Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, shows His ﷻ way and guidance. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, whoever is destined to be on this way reaches happiness. His life becomes more beautiful. Both his worldly life and the life in ākhirah become beautiful and blessed. They are as pleases Allāh ﷻ. All ṭarīqahs are the ways that take you to Allāh ﷻ. They are the ways that lead to the same path. And the Naqshbandī is much stronger, in shā’a Llāh.

This way, with the permission of Allāh ﷻ, is the way that leads to all kinds of goodness. It comes from our Holy Prophet ṣallá Llāhu ‘alayhi wasallam. It is the way of all Ahlu l-Bayt, ṣaḥābah, awliyā’ and ‘ālims. This way is the way of light to humanity. It is the way that shows the right thing. Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, it is the steady way. Without any changes, with the permission of Allāh ﷻ, the Naqshbandī ṭarīqah is the way that shows the way until qiyāmah.

Shukr to Allāh ﷻ, those who join this way are lucky people. There are many people out there who are unaware of Islām. There are many people who know it but who sometimes don't carry out the orders and wishes of Allāh ﷻ. We cannot say anything to them. We must make shukr for our condition. Our condition is the one to be grateful for, because only chosen people among many others are given such gatherings. And these gatherings are the assemblies that please Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla and make angels envy.

We have gathered all together for the pleasure of Allāh ﷻ on this day of Ramaḍān. The virtue, barakah and mercy of Allāh ﷻ are showering on us. This is the greatest happiness. It is the greatest profit. It is the greatest joy. Therefore, such gatherings are not many. Compared to gatherings disliked by Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla, they are very few. Many people want to create various troubles. But as Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla looks at His ﷻ gatherings with pleasure, these are the best gatherings. The most beneficial and the most profitable gatherings shukr to Allāh ﷻ. May the barakah of our Mashāyikh be upon us. The eyes of the ṣaḥābahs, Ahlu l-Bayt, our Holy Prophet ﷺ and angels are upon us. Their barakah is upon us. Therefore, we make shukr to Allāh ﷻ. May these favours be everlasting.

As we said, people sometimes say that others are not fasting. No one should listen to them. We must make shukr for our condition thousands and millions times, for Allāh ﷻ granted it to us. And He ﷻ didn't grant it to them. They know. Allāh ﷻ knows. Our job is ourselves, our egos, to capture our egos in shā’a Llāh. May Allāh ﷻ not let us obey our egos. May we put our egos under our feet. May we keep on this way by putting our egos under our feet in shā’a Llāh. May we not give a single chance to our egos in shā’a Llāh.
