Even the Little Counts
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
(Qur’ān 99:07-08). ‘Faman Ya’mal Mithqāla Dharratin Khayrāan Yarah (7) Wa Man Ya’mal Mithqāla Dharratin Sharrāan Yarah (8)’, ‘So whoever does an atom's weight of good will see it (7) And whoever does an atom's weight of evil will see it (8).’ Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm. Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says He ﷻ will give reward even for the tiniest goodness. And Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla will question people for their evil.
As long as people live, it is beneficial for them to do goodness as much as they can and to obey Allah ﷻ on the way of Allah ﷻ. Beware of avoiding doing even little things if you are able to do them. Little things help in good big things. Why? Because when people do little things for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ by remembering Him ﷻ, the Dhikr of Allah ﷻ is in their hearts then. They remember Allah ﷻ then.
And we should not underestimate the bad things. If a person does something bad or commits a sin, there is an easy way in that as well. When Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says He ﷻ will question us for that, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says that so that we do goodness, not badness. In order to remember Him ﷻ and to erase [bad deeds], asking for forgiveness and repenting erases the punishment and account. When you ask for forgiveness and recite AstaghfiruLlah, or Tawba AstaghfiruLlah every day: 100 times, 70 times, as much as you can, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla will forgive you.
Don’t say it is a little thing and that there is no need to ask for forgiveness. Little or big, repenting for everything is good. Erasing them is good. Because angels write them down and wait for an hour, 2 hours, 5 hours, 8 hours. They keep waiting if they should write it down, and at last, they are told to write it. The angel writes it, and it is recorded then. If people ask for forgiveness after that, if they repent, that will certainly be erased.
Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is merciful. He ﷻ is saying this in order to remind people about that. He ﷻ doesn’t forget goodness as little as an atom. He ﷻ gives its reward. And He ﷻ doesn’t forget badness as little as an atom. He ﷻ gives punishment for it. Therefore, Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is reminding mankind about this so that they repent and ask for forgiveness. Nothing escapes from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. There is an account for everything. And there is a reward for everything insha’Allah. May Allah ﷻ reward us all insha’Allah for the honor of these days.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
