Glory is for Believers
As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.
Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:
(Qur’ān 63:08). ‘Wa Lillāh Al-`Izzatu Wa Lirasūlihi Wa Lilmu'uminīna’, ‘But honour, power and glory belong to Allah, His Messenger (Muhammad SAW), and to the believers.’
Glory and honor are for Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam and for those who follow their way, for the Mu’mins. Glory and honor belong to them. Whomever Allah ﷻ gives these beautiful things to in the sight of Allah ﷻ and the sight of people, no one else can give it. It is a high rank. Mu’mins must be proud of it. They should not belittle themselves in front of non-believers and Kafirs. We are with Allah ﷻ. Shukr to Allah ﷻ, glory and honor are ours.
Of course, humbleness must be among believers. And there can’t be humbleness among Kafirs. Don’t belittle yourself in front of Kafirs. Because when they are with shaytan, they are always in disgrace. They are in disdain. They have nothing to do with honor. They have nothing to do with greatness. Those who are on the way of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla and our Holy Prophet ﷺ are those who live with glory and honor. Mu’mins must know this.
Sometimes Mu’mins see themselves lower than Kafirs or people who have money but who are not on the way of Allah ﷻ. They think everything can be obtained with money. No. Money has no value. Unless on the way of Allah ﷻ, nothing has any value. Because everything is in the Hand of Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Allah ﷻ is the one who gives to them. And Allah ﷻ is the one who gives to you. He ﷻ gave money to them and He ﷻ gave honor to you. No matter how much money someone has, unless he is on the right path, he is not worth a penny. His money has no benefit neither to him nor to others.
Therefore, Mu’mins must be proud of their Iman and not belittle themselves. Certainly, as we said, humbleness is acceptable among Mu’mins. It is not acceptable in front of Kafirs. People must know this, because they mix these matters up a lot. Many people mix them up. Certainly, out of humanity, when you meet people, you show respect to each other. Mankind do not treat the people in front of them badly. But these points are important points so that people don’t mix them up. Even if someone in front of you is Kafir, you must not swear at him. But you must know yourself. It is not good if you are like him, but he must be like you. When it is so, people will show more respect to you with the permission of Allah ﷻ. And insha’Allah it will be the means of guidance for them. Because they will know that glory and honor are for those who are with Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Be with Him ﷻ and attain honor. If you are not with Him ﷻ, you will remain where you are. But as we said, you must not treat them badly, you must know yourself. May Allah ﷻ give guidance to everyone. May they live with these beautiful glory and honor insha’Allah.
Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.
