There is Goodness in Everything

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

‘Wa `Asá 'An Takrahū Shay'āan Wa Huwa Khayrun Lakum’, ‘But perhaps you hate a thing and it is good for you.’ (Qur’ān 02:216). Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-‘Aẓīm. There is goodness in everything that happens, says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla in Qur’an ‘Azimu sh-Shan. Sometimes things you don’t like happen. There is goodness in them. Without realizing it - you don’t like them, but that is something for your goodness.

So when something happens, even though it seems like a mishap, Allah ﷻ does it as goodness insha’Allah. Therefore, to live with submission that ‘Allah ﷻ wants this’, without objecting is good for all humanity. You should rely on Allah ﷻ and not question why it happened or why it did not happen. You must do what you can and submit to Allah ﷻ.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla does whatever He ﷻ wants with you. What you want will not happen. What Allah ﷻ wants happens. “Insha’Allah” means what Allah ﷻ wants will happen. Therefore, you must look at things knowing there is goodness in everything that happens. When it’s like that, people are at rest. They say, “This is what Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla, my Lord wants” and feel content. They don’t worry. It has happened after all.

Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla is showing beautiful things to all humanity. But people ignore them or don’t care at all. They wish if it was so and so on their own and get angry. Therefore, we must be pleased with something that happened as believers. We must be pleased with everything that happens. We must say it is a test from our Lord and believe it is something that has goodness for us. There is goodness in everything that happens. May Allah ﷻ make everything turn out well insha’Allah.
