Questions to Mawlana

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad.

Mawlana: Insha’Allah our brother will ask us questions and we will answer them insha’Allah to be a means for goodness.

Questioner: As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum Sheikh Efendi, welcome to Berlin.

Mawlana: Wa aleykumsalam.

1. Questioner: I have some questions which are for an article for a magazine called Hyphen Online which is a British Muslim magazine in London, and also a German Islamic newspaper here in Germany. So I hope my questions are worthy. I’d like to ask you a couple of questions. And the first one is: What should belong to our daily routines as Muslims so that we can have Allah’s ﷻ blessing?

Mawlana: This is a very good question for people, for Muslims. For your routine and every day, just like you eat, you drink, you sleep, you must be first praying. You must make it a routine, and without it you cannot live. Just as you cannot live without eating, drinking and sleeping, also this, you must put it as fourth; it must be first but you can make it as the fourth thing in your life routine. This is very important. And second is to put Sadaqah to protect you every day insha’Allah. These are the two most important things.

Questioner: Thank you very much. The next question is.

Mawlana: Let them translate to German.

2. Questioner: The second question is: Prince Charles is now King Charles III. Do you know if it’s certain that he is a Sufi? And what can you expect from him in the future?

Mawlana: Yes, when he speaks Masha’Allah he has big knowledge and he of course has a responsibility. Some people cannot carry this if he [shows it] openly. So by himself he is really knowledgeable and following the Sufi way. Everybody everywhere can see his life and what he does. He is really following the teaching of Sufi way, teachings of Prophets’ way. He has mercy, he has good manners, he has good behavior and everything. But of course he cannot say openly, “I am like this, I am like that.” But from his actions you know what he has inside.

3. Questioner: Third question: It is said that before the end of times, seven great nations will embrace Islam, and England will be the first. Sheikh Nazim spent a great deal of time in England and so have you. Can you tell me something about the general mood with regards to Islam in the UK as you see it?

Mawlana: Of course when the time comes - because now they show Islam as very bad - but people have this “Isti’dad”, “Readiness”, they are ready for this. When the time comes, it will be quickly. Nobody can stop them insha’Allah.

4. Questioner: The fourth question: Sheikh Nazim urged his German Murids to seek out contact to the house of - What’s come out of this and developed? That’s interesting.

Mawlana: Because Mawlana likes noble people. So he respects them and he wants them to be an example for other people, for people to know their value. For this, he urged our people to meet them, to know about their history, about their worth, how they are acting. So this is a good example for German people, and for other people also. It is a really good thing to have valuable people, good people, good-mannered people because now everything is upside down. They don’t respect valuable people. They respect unrespectable people; we are sorry about this.

5. Questioner: The fifth question is: Do you have a message for the members of Tariqah in Berlin, we see they’ve split up into various Dergahs in the city. Why is it that everyone is separate from one another? Where should we look for leadership?

Mawlana: This is a good question. Because when shaytan sees good people together, he’s not happy, he likes to make them separate and finish them. But AlhamduliLlah they are separate but they also have a place for themselves. But if we find some bad gathering, shaytan’s happy with them, there’s no problem between them, they are happy together because shaytan is happy with them. He doesn’t make Fitnah between them. But when there are good people [that happens]. The whole world is like this. Now good people make between themselves separation and Fitnah. But insha’Allah they are on the same way, we accept this also, what will we do.

6. Questioner: The next question is: Some of us have wives who disregard the signs of the end of times. How should we deal with our spouses who are believers but at the same time don’t see the signs leading to Armageddon?

Mawlana: There’s no problem in this. When you believe, you can - if she believes or not, or if he doesn’t believe, no problem. It is not, what they say, because they don’t know about this so there’s no problem to believe or not believe. It’s not obligatory. They must believe in next life, it’s okay. But when you say Armageddon coming or this and that, many people don’t understand, there’s no need to argue with them.

7. Questioner: Another question is: Do you have a message for the Muslims of Europe?

Mawlana: The whole world is nearly the same now. But of course Europe, because they have a different mentality, we say to our people to be together as much as they can. Gathering for praying, for Sohbah, for anything, for friendship; to be together. Because, unfortunately others are not very happy to be friends with you or to be together, meaning non-Muslims, non-believers. So it’s better because Oneness is only for God, for Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla. Everybody likes to be with other people. So the best thing, even for children or for people, is to be with good people. Not to be cheated by a friend or other who claim they’re happy with you but they’re not, they only want something from you. So this is very important, to be with good people insha’Allah.

8. Questioner: And the last question, two questions: So you spoke recently about how Dajjal’s Soldiers are ready. Are also Mahdi’s Soldiers ready? Who are they? And where are they?

Mawlana: Mahdi’s Soldiers, of course. There’s no problem for Mahdi in having soldiers because he is coming with a Miracle. Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah was saying that when he makes Takbeer, who has belief will hear him and will join him. So millions of people will be with him insha’Allah. And they will be ready as if they were training, as they have trained. They’ll be ready as trained. He doesn’t collect them and makes exercise and teaches them how to use a sword. With his miracle they will be ready.
