The Importance of Halal Rizq

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa RaḥmatuLlāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu BiLlāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. BismiLlāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi RasūliLlāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 62:11) Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, ‘Wa Allahu Khayru r-rāziqīn’, ‘And Allah is the Best of providers.’ Rizq is given by Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. The Best Razzaq is Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. People think their Rizq is from other people. They beg them and ask for Rizq from them. Rizq is from Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. He ﷻ sends you Rizq from where you don’t expect it.

A person who works by relying on Allah ﷻ; certainly Halal Rizq is important. Halal Rizq is beneficial. Families and children will be on the right way with it. Because some people say that they pray and perform worship, but their children are not on their way but on the opposite side. Why does this happen? It is because their Rizq and money earned are not Halal.

We live in the end of times. People now don’t care about Halal and Haram. They don’t even know. There are people who think the Haram is Halal and the Halal is Haram. Therefore, this matter is important. Always ask from Allah ﷻ that your Rizq is Halal. When you ask for Rizq, you must ask from Ar-Razzaq, from Allah ﷻ so that He ﷻ gives you from Halal and doesn’t let you be in need of anyone.

The Rizq of your family and children is important. You must give firstly to your family from the Rizq you earn. You must not let them be in need of anyone. And then you can give to others. You get more Thawab from the Rizq you give to your family. When you do some work, you must firstly give to those who have a right in it. When you deal with trade, construction, or this and that, you must firstly cover your debts and pay back the trust of people. Afterwards, whether you give Sadaqah or gifts, whatever you do should be after this.

When some people see money, they think it is theirs and no one has the right to ask about it. These people have given their trust to you. If you give Sadaqah from that money, it is not Sadaqah anymore. It is robbery. You will be written a sin, not Thawab. This is important, too.

People come and ask about Rizq, why this happens and that doesn’t happen. There are many people who ask this. But no one looks for fault in themselves. They come to us sometimes and tell us something. What they tell is 0,1% true and 99,9% false. Therefore, do the right thing. As we said, if you work or do something, pay the rights of people first of all. And then take your profit. You will have Barakah then. Otherwise, there will not be Barakah and your Rizq will be gone. May Allah ﷻ protect us. May Allah ﷻ give us Halal Rizq to all of us.
