Asking Forgiveness Cleans Our Souls

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Sheikh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Sheikh Muḥammad Nāẓim al-Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 24:31). ‘Wa Tūbū ‘Ila Llāhi Jamī’āan ‘Ayyuhā Al-Mu’minūn’, ‘And turn to Allah in repentance, all of you, O believers.’

Allah ﷻ orders us to repent and ask forgiveness from Him ﷻ; “All of you”, He ﷻ said. Everybody has some sin, some wrong thing because we are human beings, we are not angels. Every time, small or big, we can do a wrong thing or a sin. For this, Allah ﷻ orders us, “All of you, repent and ask forgiveness.” And He ﷻ is the Most Merciful, He ﷻ accepts insha’Allah.

Asking forgiveness for us is to clean our souls. What we do is like dirt and we must wash it. And we wash it with repentance and asking forgiveness from Allah ﷻ. Because this makes your sins to come on top of each other, it will be heaviness for you and darkness also. From the Mercy of Allah ﷻ, He ﷻ forgives. When you ask for forgiveness, He ﷻ forgives you and makes you clean. May Allah ﷻ forgive us insha’Allah.
