Intention is Important

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

We are Muslim, Shukr to Allah ﷻ. We are Muslim and we try to do everything that Islam orders and that Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla orders. Our intention is to do everything as much as we can insha’Allah. This intention is important, because people cannot do everything in this world. Shukr to Allah ﷻ, Allah ﷻ completes it for us with the intention.

Our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam said, The Intention of a person is better than his deeds, says our Holy Prophet salla Llāhu ‘alayhi wa-sallam. Because Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla rewards according to one’s intention. Our deeds are incomplete or insufficient. No one can do everything completely. Therefore, the intention is important. And our intention is to carry out Allah’s ﷻ orders.

It is like this from all aspects. But sometimes people cannot do it because of their flaws. And sometimes they cannot do it according to the orders of Ūli l-‘Amr or the government; they may be prevented from it by force. Therefore, we ask that Allah ﷻ forgives us. May Allah ﷻ forgive us, because as we said, there are some times when people try to do what Allah ﷻ orders, but they are prevented from it. This happened many times after the Ottomans. Shukr to Allah ﷻ, it is comfortable now. But as we said, sometimes there are many things that are not done according to the order of Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla.

Therefore, people should do what they can. And may Allah ﷻ forgive the rest. Our intention is to do everything completely. But when there is an obstacle, then that obstacle - There are some things that you can or cannot overcome by yourself. For example, women were forced to take off their veils. This happened at that time. If they don’t take it off and leave it on for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ, Allah ﷻ will reward them more in Akhirah. People might think that they lost in this world, but Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla favors them several times more in Akhirah.

This is just an example. There are many things. Therefore, people are not responsible for some things they cannot do. Responsible are those who prevent them from it. Their account is tough in front of Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla. May Allah ﷻ protect us. Insha’Allah we should do as much as we can, as we said. And may Allah ﷻ forgive the rest insha’Allah.

Wa min Allah at-Tawfiq. Al-Fatiha.

There are recited Qur’an Khatms, Surahs, Yasin, Ayat, Tasbihat and Salawat. May Allah ﷻ accept the intentions of those who have recited. We dedicate them firstly to the soul of our Holy Prophet ﷺ, his Ahlu l-Bayt and Sahabah, all Anbiya, Awliya, Asfiya, to the souls of the Mashayikh, the souls of our deceased relatives, especially to the souls of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim, Hajjah Anne and Hala Sultan, to the souls of the Awliya and Sahabah here. For the goodness to come and the evil to be gone, for the strength of our Iman.
