Earn Every Minute

As-Salāmu ‘Alaykum wa Raḥmatullāhi wa Barakātuh. A‘ūdhu Billāhi Minash-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismillāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm. Wa ṣ-Salātu wa s-Salāmu ‘alá Rasūlinā Muḥammadin Sayyidi l-Awwalīna wa l-Akhirīn. Madad yā RasūlAllāh, Madad yā Sādāti Aṣḥābi Rasūlillāh, Madad yā Mashāyikhinā, Dastūr Mawlana Shaykh Abdullāh al-Fā’iz ad-Dāghistāni, Shaykh Muḥammad Nāẓim al- Ḥaqqānī. Madad. Ṭarīqatunā aṣ-Suḥbah wa l-Khayru fi l-Jam‘iyyah.

Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 03:140). Allāh ‘Azza wa-Jalla says, ‘Wa-tilka l-ayyāmu nudāwiluhā bayna nnās’, ‘And these days [of varying conditions] We alternate among the people.’ Days are the same, but people are changing, says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. Days and time are passing, and people are changing.

Insha’Allah today we are traveling to our brothers in England. More than two years have passed in between. If you look, it seems like an instant. But in these two years, strange circumstances and strange events took place. It is the wisdom of Allah ﷻ.

People think that they will stay in this world, whereas all kinds of circumstances occur to them. Allah ﷻ is giving them as a lesson for people. But people are , “Most of them are heedless” - People are heedless. They say, “It is another thing. It’s unimportant”, whereas Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla gives examples and lessons for people to awaken them and for them to understand that this world is not eternal and permanent. Whoever understands will be in profit. And whoever doesn’t understand will attain nothing but suffering. He will only suffer. And may Allah ﷻ protect us, he will fall into even more suffering in Akhirah.

Therefore, people should earn every minute of this world and not waste it. To not waste it is to remember Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. To make Dhikr of Allah ﷻ is to remember Allah ﷻ. Always say “Allah” in your heart. Don’t let your heart be empty without the Dhikr of Allah ﷻ. Its benefit is for everyone. Everyone can do it.

But as we said, days are passing. You look and realize that your life is gone. You look at your old photos; your hair and beard were completely black. After a year or two, they turned a little white. And then they became completely white. But you still assume yourself young. Whereas you have approached the end of your life and you’re unaware of it. May Allah ﷻ protect us.

May Allah ﷻ let us always remember Him ﷻ and make Dhikr of Him ﷻ, because whatever He ﷻ wants happens. And when you beg Him ﷻ, He ﷻ accepts your Dua. He ﷻ says, ‘ ’, ‘Id’ūnī ‘Astajib lakum’, ‘Call upon Me; I will respond to you.’ (Qur’ān 40:60). “Make Dua so that I accept your Dua”, says Allah ‘Azza wa-Jalla. May Allah ﷻ give us all true strength of Iman insha’Allah. May our trip bring benefit to us and to the people there insha’Allah. May it give strength to our Iman insha’Allah, because Iman is not only for ourselves - The more you become a means of guidance to people around you, the stronger the Iman will be in both you and them. And your light will increase.

Therefore, may Allah ﷻ bless this trip. We are going for the pleasure of Allah ﷻ. May we go and return safely and with benefit. May we not go for nothing insha’Allah. May we go with spiritual gifts and return with spiritual gifts insha’Allah.
