Show Us the Truth as True

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya Sadat As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Dastur Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah Faiz Daghestani, Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani. Madad. Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.

“Allahumma arinal haqqa haqqaw warzuqnat tiba’ah, wa arinal batila batilaw warzuqnaj tinabah.” It means, “Oh Allah! Show us the truth as true and grant us to follow it. And show us the falsehood as falsehood and grant us to stay away from it.” We are living in such a time that people have mixed everything too much. People don’t accept the truth. They deny the truth by saying, “This is not true. What we know is not like this”. And they follow the falsehood not the truth. They are following things that are against the nature of humanity and the nature of the world by saying that it is true and right. They are following not the good but the complete opposite. Therefore, when we do so, may Allah ﷻ protect us, our end is not good. We are not earning anything but badness and things that are useless in this world as well. What is true is justice, goodness, honesty. They are useful things for people’s lives in this world as well. The rest are useless not only to people, but for everything else.

Falsehood never brings benefit. It is nothing but loss. You ask, “Then why are people doing so?” It is because people of this time obey their egos. Whatever their egos say, they run after it. They run after gambling, they run after adultery, they run after perversion. There is such perversion in the world now that it has become normal. They shout everywhere, “Follow this and do that”. Is there any benefit in it? No benefit at all. Those people... They are not even human; those creatures are not even increasing in their own countries. How can they increase when there is this perversion? But they are showing it as good. They are showing falsehood as good, and people are cheated. Therefore, this Dua asks to show the truth.

It is the same in Muslim countries too. They say regarding the true way, the way loved by Allah ﷻ and our Holy Prophet ﷺ, “This is not the true way. You are Mushrik, you are Kafir” and they don’t accept anything our Holy Prophet ﷺ did. But then they claim that they are Muslims. They confuse people and show the truth as falsehood. We have to make this Dua every day so that people really see the truth and stay away from badness and falsehood. It is an important Dua. Just like a Turkish saying, “Horse meat is mixed with dog meat”, everything is mixed up now from all perspectives. In humanity and religion, culture and traditions, everything is mixed up. May Allah ﷻ put the light of iman into people’s hearts so that they see the truth and falsehood insha’Allah.
