Be with Good and Truthful Ones

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya Sadat As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Dastur Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah Faiz Daghestani, Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani. Madad. Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.

A’ūdhu bi-Llāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 09:119). ‘O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with the truthful.’ This is the order of Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla. Fear Allah ﷻ and be with the truthful and good people. Good ones should be together with good ones and should stay away from bad ones. To fear Allah ﷻ is to avoid doing things that Allah ﷻ dislikes. Allah ﷻ is Forgiving. Allah ﷻ is Merciful, He the Most Merciful. But we should know this not to commit a sin but to be afraid of committing a sin. It is not nice to meet Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla with a sin. This is another matter. But it is important to know that the order of Allah ﷻ is to be with good and truthful people.

Be with truthful people who don’t give sufferings to people, and who don’t cheat people. Do not be with hypocrites. Do not be with oppressors. Do not be with liars. If people with such attributes train their egos, you can be together with them. But if they don’t, it is better to stay away from them. It is the wisdom of Allah ﷻ that many people are out of the way and run after their egos. And when they run after their egos, they try all kinds of paths in order to satisfy their egos. They don’t know what is permissible and what is prohibited. They do everything and see no harm, whereas Allah ﷻ says to fear Him. Do not meet Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla with these attributes. Be shy in front of Allah ﷻ. Be ashamed of your actions. Be with good ones.

They say, a grape changes color next to other grapes. When a good person is with good people, he becomes better. And when a person is with bad people, he does the same thing like the people of this time by saying, “He does it. Why can’t I do it? It is alright”. When he is with bad people, he starts doing what they do. Therefore, stay away from bad places and bad people. Always be with good ones. Allah ‘Azza wa Jalla says, ‘ ’. (Qur’ān 24:26). Good people are with good people. It is the same with marriage; good ones are with good ones, and bad ones are with bad ones. May Allah ﷻ protect us from the evil of our egos. The ego prefers bad things over good things. Good things are hard for the ego. Therefore, may Allah ﷻ protect us and may we not obey our egos. May we be with good ones and stay away from bad ones insha’Allah.
