The Most Perfect Religion

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya Sadat As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Dastur Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah Faiz Daghestani, Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani. Madad. Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.

The religion of Islam is the blessed religion of Allah. ‘ ’, ‘Indeed, the religion in the sight of Allah is Islam.’ (Qur’ān 03:19). Islam is the most perfect religion. It was completed with the last prophet, our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Our Holy

Prophet ﷺ says:, “This day, I have perfected your religion for you, and have approved for you Islam as your religion.” Since the time of Sayyidina Adam ʿalayhi s-salām until the time of our Holy Prophet ﷺ, the religion that came was Islam, but it came gradually. Along with our Holy Prophet ﷺ, that religion was completed.

In Khutbatu l-Wadā, the Final Sermon of our Holy Prophet ﷺ, without the Sahabah realizing, Sayyidina Abu Bakr radiya Llahu 'anhu was crying. He said that now since the religion is completed, our Holy Prophet ﷺ will pass to the Ākhirah. And that’s why he cried. The Sahabah didn’t understand it as much. But what’s important in this matter is that after our Holy Prophet ﷺ, no more details or orders came to the religion of Islam; that’s it. Those orders are enough for people anyway. Everybody can do them comfortably. There’s no difficulty or hardship. On the contrary, those who do them are saved from hardships. They are at ease and relieved. All of their troubles go away. Those who are in Islam and apply the true Islam have been given the greatest blessing. Hardships are nothing for them as long as there is Iman.

People do not understand this and they attack Islam. Why are they attacking Islam? Because they are with shaytan. They listen to shaytan’s whisperings. They say: “This religion is not good. It is constricting your freedoms. It is hard. You have to pray five times a day, etc.” Whereas when you make ablution five times a day, it raises your spirituality and you find relief because the impurities are cleaned. You stand in front of Allah ﷻ five times a day. People don’t know this. They are fooled by shaytan and they continue on that path. The religion of Islam is a great blessing for all humanity. It is a gift from Allah ﷻ to people. Those who are on this path reach felicity. Those who are outside of this path are in misery, sorrow, and badness. May Allah ﷻ keep us steadfast and may He guide people. We have to wish goodness for people. May Allah ﷻ guide them. The best of goodness is to be guided.
