The Battle of Badr

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya Sadat As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Dastur Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah Faiz Daghestani, Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani. Madad. Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.

Every day of the holy month of Ramadan has a different blessing. Today is the 17th of Ramadan insha’Allah. It is the day of the Battle of Badr, the big battle of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Allah ﷻ granted great victory to our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Great victory and power was granted to Islam and Muslims. Allah ﷻ granted various apparent and spiritual favors during this battle as help to our Holy Prophet ﷺ. He damaged the arrogance of unbelievers. It was the battle which separated the true and the false and was called Yawm ul-Furqan. It was the battle which deserved all merits.

The rank of the Sahabah who went to this battle is different among others. Their past and future sins have been forgiven. There were 313 holy Sahabah who were with our Holy Prophet ﷺ. Their blessings last until Qiyamah. People would write down their names and hang them in their homes to receive their blessing; it’s still being done until now.

Today is a blessed good day. It was a great favor to our Holy Prophet ﷺ from Allah ﷻ. There were many miracles. Angels helped them. Allah ﷻ says, “I sent down three thousand angels”. They added strength and helped with the war. But Allah ﷻ knows best, the Sahabah were the ones who fought because not three thousand, but even one angel would have destroyed the army of unbelievers. It was a severe test that the Sahabah passed. And those angels were sent as a favor to add strength and help. It is a big lesson until Qiyamah. It is a big war of our Holy Prophet ﷺ. May Allah ﷻ send help to Islam and save us from this condition. Allah ﷻ is with us. It is a big power that no one can defeat.

The faith of Muslims is weak now. They look and see that we are finished everywhere. But they are forgetting Allah’s ﷻ power and that Allah ﷻ is with us. They are being heedless and then they fall into hopelessness. Do not be hopeless. Even at the weakest time, Allah ﷻ brought victory to our Holy Prophet ﷺ with just a handful of Sahabah; they were 313 people. And even if they had been thirty Sahabah, they would still win with the order and will of Allah ﷻ. Therefore, the Ummah of Muhammad ﷺ should not fall into hopelessness. The promise of Allah ﷻ is true. Islam will cover whole world. The whole world will light up with the light of Islam insha’Allah. It is close insha’Allah.
