Allah Loves Goodness
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Sheykh Abdullah Daghestani, Sheykh Nazim al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.
Goodness is something loved by Allah ﷻ. To be with good people and to get along with people is the most acceptable quality. The good person is the one who does goodness to Allah ﷻ; doing goodness to Allah ﷻ is by doing goodness to people. Allah ﷻ loves that. Allah doesn’t like evil and He doesn’t want it. Who wants evil? It is shaytan. He started with Adam ʿalayhi s-salām in Paradise, and ever since then he has been thinking of nothing and doing nothing but evil; he did nothing called goodness. Goodness is the quality that Allah ﷻ gave to His Prophet ﷺ, as the Prophet ﷺ is the most beloved creature to Allah ﷻ, so he orders goodness.
Goodness brings goodness. As for evil, no matter how much you do thinking: ‘I might gain something’, it gets that much worse and evil, and is of no use. However, humans think of evil as more profitable and easy; they run after it. And while thinking they’re going to gain something, they actually lose and get deceived. What’s the saying? As the saying goes: ‘The hunter gets hunted’. So do not let go of goodness. Do not be fooled by evil because it’s so decorated. Do not be fooled by its looks thinking that you might gain something or that there might be any profit. In the end, all of that will fly away and nothing will be left of it.
We see people trying to gain all sorts of profit. Men do the worst things to people and give the worst to them; some men do it. And then there are those who do it secretly, Allah ﷻ knows of that and He will accordingly give them their punishment. So if you don’t want to be punished by Allah ﷻ, be in goodness. Stay with goodness and stay away from evil and from all sorts of badness. There are more than 800 types of evil, it was said. There are 800 types of evil and 500 types of goodness, but now perhaps it’s more than 800 in these end times. Therefore, be careful.
May Allah ﷻ protect us and keep us gathered with the good ones. May He send us good people insha’Allah so we may be with the good ones. May we be far away from the bad ones and may Allah ﷻ reform them. May He keep us away from them if they’re not to be reformed. Be with the ones who need goodness insha’Allah. Thank Allah ﷻ for this day of ours, this blessed day of Jumah (Friday).
Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq. Al-Fatiha.
