To Each His Own Work
Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Sheykh Abdullah Daghestani, Sheykh Nazim al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.
Our Holy Prophet ﷺ states:
“Each person is facilitated for what he has been created.” Allah ﷻ has made it easy for each person to do a certain work. As for the things that they’re not supposed to be doing, it’s difficult for them. Allah ﷻ has given everybody a quality, a character. If they find that [quality], they’ll be comfortable and at ease in their life; they would do that work, get along, make a living and be happy with it. Those who cannot find it, their whole life would be spent in complaint and grief. People of today think of themselves as clever. They go to university thinking that they’re going to become something [important]. However, as our Holy Prophet ﷺ said, every person has a task to do and a capacity. So if you’ve educated that person and they went to university, they’re either going to do it by force or they wouldn’t be wanting to do it. In this country, we know that they’re making everybody a student. They want everybody to be going to university and they’re letting a student pass even if he’s a donkey. When in fact, not everybody has to go and get an education, because there are people who also need to work and be workers. We need to know who needs to do what and take precaution accordingly.
However, people of today neither know themselves nor what they’re capable or not capable of. Everything is mixed up. Then, it becomes a burden on the state and on themselves, and their life passes in grief and sadness. When in fact, if a person did what they loved, then they’ll be happy with it. But because they’re forced to do things that they don’t like, they can’t do that work properly and they cause trouble around them as well. Our Holy Prophet ﷺ says: “The Religion of Islam is good, beautiful and beneficial for both this world and the hereafter.” Those who don’t follow the Religion of Islam, the Prophet ﷺ and the orders/commands of Allah ﷻ are always at loss and they’re unsuccessful. They wake up in loss and go to bed in loss, and they cause trouble around them.
May Allah ﷻ give intellect to people so that they don’t interfere in everything. Allah ﷻ has certain things that He does and people have certain responsibilities. Allah ﷻ created these servants, they have different things to do and different capacities, you can't force them to be cookie-cutter/identical individuals. This system is the system of unbelief anyway, [it is made] so that people might distance themselves from religion and harm each other; this is what shaytan wants. What Allah ﷻ wants is goodness and beauty. May Allah ﷻ give intellect to people, especially Muslim States, so that they’re not deceived by shaytan and his soldiers. May Allah ﷻ protect us.
Wa Minallah at-Tawfeeq. Al-Fatiha.
