The Masjids are for Allah

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Sheykh Abdullah Daghestani, Sheykh Nazim al-Haqqani. Dastur. Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.

The masjids are the houses of Allah ﷻ. They are places that people can take refuge in. Allah ﷻ says: ‘ ’, ‘And [He revealed] that the masjids are for Allah, so do not invoke with Allah anyone’, (Qur’ān 72:18). Mosques belong to Allah ﷻ. Those who want to get closer to Allah ﷻ and be near Allah ﷻ go to mosques. Our Holy Prophet ﷺ says: “The prayer in congregation is twenty-seven times superior to the prayer offered by person alone.” He also says that for every step taken towards the mosque, a person gets 10 rewards for it and his station rises. Therefore, no harm comes from mosques.

Now in some places, they firstly shut down mosques and masjids because of this illness. If it wasn’t for the permission of Allah ﷻ, this illness would not have happened. They use the pandemic as an excuse. What they did was wrong, and in some places they’re still continuing with this wrong. Their minds don’t understand it, they are mindless and faithless ones. Allah ﷻ will give them their punishment in this world before the hereafter. If you are with shaytan and you’re against Allah ﷻ, then you’re the enemy of Allah ﷻ; this is what it means. Anybody who shuts the mosques and the masjids are enemies of Allah ﷻ. If they do this unknowingly and repent, Allah’s ﷻ door of repentance and forgiveness is open. But some do it knowingly and with persistence, and they’re taking this [illness] as an opportunity to do so. They say: “This illness is an opportunity for us, let’s shut it down”; while at the same time, they do all sorts of filthy things everywhere. They do things that they shouldn’t be doing in some places and they oppose Allah ﷻ. One shouldn’t be coming against Allah ﷻ. Allah ﷻ has plenty of soldiers. When one soldier of His finishes, another one comes. In order to do away with this pandemic, you need to beg Allah ﷻ for it; you do not shut the mosques. They had shut the mosques in Lebanon as well, but their sanity was restored a little bit so they said they’re going to open it for Friday (Jumah) Prayers. They then think of themselves as the brightest and cleverest people in the world whereas without begging Allah ﷻ and asking Him, this is not going to end.

Allah Glorious and Exalted is He can end one thing and come up with another. People need to seek refuge in Allah ﷻ otherwise they are finished; nothing will be of use for them other than this. So these masjids and mosques are places of refuge for people. When they have troubles they go there. But the ones who shut them are not ones who are with Allah ﷻ, they are with shaytan. Therefore, do not be with them. Wherever you see people screaming and yelling, stay away from them. Take your desires and what you want directly to Allah ﷻ. Beg Allah ﷻ and ask Him. He says, you are close to Me, ask Me and pray to Me; and you do this in mosques. Allah ﷻ says: ‘ ’, ‘And [He revealed] that the masjids are for Allah’, (Qur’ān 72:18). This is what Mu’mins (believers) and Muslims should know first. May Allah ﷻ give us and all muslims intellect, good thinking and understanding. The month of Rajab is also coming, may it be Mubarak (blessed) and may it be a means for goodness insha’Allah.
