Believers are Brothers

Assalamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh, Auzu Billahi Minashaytanir Rajeem. Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem, Wassalatu Wassalamu ala Rasulina Muhammadin Sayyidul Awwalin wal Akhirin, Madad Ya Rasulallah, Madad Ya Sadat As’habi RasuLillah, Madad Ya Mashayikhina, Dastur Mawlana Sheikh Abdullah Faiz Daghestani, Sheikh Nazim al-Haqqani. Madad. Tariqatunas sohba, wal khayru fil jamiyya.

A’ūdhu bi-Llāhi mina sh-shayṭāni r-rajīm. Bismi Llāhi r-Raḥmāni r-Raḥīm:

(Qur’ān 49:10). Allah Azza wa Jalla says: ‘The believers are but brothers.’ Make settlement between your brothers, He says. Let there be no conflict. Thank Allah ﷻ, when it comes to brothers, the race, language, color, etc. are nothing. Meaning a black person is your brother, a white person is your brother, an Arabic speaking person is your brother, a Chinese speaking person is your brother. As long as they are Muslims, they are all brothers.

As long as the brothers are on the right way, there is no conflict. The duty of shaytan from the very beginning is to lead these people astray, to separate them from the way, and to try to make them on his way. You will either be the brother of the Muslims or the brother of the shaytans, Ikhwan-i Shayatin.

That’s why, wherever we go we are like brothers thank Allah ﷻ. Everyone wants goodness for his brother. From here, we want goodness for the people there. We keep trying to help them and keep them on the right way. The shaytan, on the other hand, tries to lead them astray. What’s important is the intention, and to continue on that way with that intention. As long as they are on the right way, the black one is our brother, the yellow one is our brother, and the red one is our brother. As long as they are on the right way, they are all our brothers. But if they deviate from the way, even the closest person is no longer like a brother.

‘ ’, ‘Shaytan only wants to cause between you enmity and hatred.’ (Qur’ān 05:91). The shaytan wants to put evil and enmity between you. Our enmity is against shaytan, and against those who follow him. We have nothing against Muslims. Wherever we are called for service, they are also our brothers. We go there and make them happy too. We are trying to spread the way of our Holy Prophet ﷺ, the way of Islam, the way of the Awliya and the right way. That is our intention. May Allah ﷻ help us. Insha’Allah it will be guidance for us and guidance for them as well. May we go and return safely insha’Allah.
